About us

At this time SebecLake.org primarly focuses on the less developed west end of the Lake. It is a work in progress, please be patient with our progress. If you'd like to share images or stories about this or other areas of the Lake we'd love to hear from you.

The site is Maintained by Dwight Packard and his family. We've been connected to the Lake for six generations. He lives at Sebec Lake for much of the year after retiring from a career as an attorney and court magistrate.Much of the content is composed of his personal family collection and his collected historic postcards. He is the History editor of the website.

The Natural History section and technical aspects of the website are maintained by his son and daughter-in-law Chris and Jill Packard. They currently live in Bangor, Maine. Chris is a science teacher and biologist. Jill is an artist, musician, and the President of the Hemophilia Alliance of Maine.
